LOYALTY CU is proud to offer several Youth Savings Accounts for those of you who want your child to get a head start on learning financial responsibility. We offer the following accounts:

Wee Belong Kids Savings Account

This account is perfect for children from infancy to eight years of age to begin saving money. All you need to open an account is $5. When your child opens a Wee Belong Savings Account, they receive a piggy bank (given out at account opening), quarterly paid dividends, and a free coin counter.

Children aged ten years and under are also able to explore finances with Sammie, the Saving Scottie, through a series of animated videos as he learns the basics of money management: CLIMB financial literacy program.

Future Leader Kids’ Savings Accounts

The Future Leader Savings account is perfect for children ages 9-17. This account gives your child the opportunity to learn by observing how savings for big-ticket items can be fun and easy! All it takes to open our Future Leader Savings account is $5.

With our Future Leader Savings account, your child will receive quarterly paid dividends, a free coin counter, and financial education.

Future Leader Teen Checking Accounts

The Future Leader Checking Account is for ages fifteen to seventeen to help teenagers learn how to manage money responsibly. A parent or guardian must be listed on your child's Future Leader Checking Account.

Upon opening a Future Leader Checking Account, your teen will receive:

Visa Debit Card
Cents-to-savings (Save while using your debit card)
E-branch featuring LOYALTY CU’s mobile app with mobile deposit
No monthly service charges
